Tim Funnell Trio
Here are a couple of recordings we made with the Tim Funnell Trio. We were lucky enough to be able to record at the brilliant Fieldgate recording studio near Cardiff in Wales. They have an amazing Fazioli grand piano which was a joy to play. For these recordings I made an arrangement of an American Songbook tune (Softly as in a Morning Sunrsie by Romburg and Hammerstein) and a Jazz Standard (Stablemates by Benny Golson) http://www.fieldgatestudios.com/

The Bella Notte Quartet
The media and videos here are of the Bella Notte Quartet and were also recorded at Fieldgate Studios. For these I made arrangements of two jazz standards, I Didn’t Know What Time It Was by Richard Rogers and Old Devil Moon by Burton Lane.
The Bella Notte Quartet features the brilliant vocals of Belinda Rose Barnett and is led by pianist Timothy Funnell. To complete the lineup they are joined by Bristol’s finest Italian rhythm section with the brilliant Paolo Adamo on drums and the wonderful Pasquale Votino on double bass. They play a range of music from classic swing tunes to contemporary jazz.
