Cycling Trip and Solo Piano Concert in Totnes

In November 2021 I was invited by my cousin to play a solo piano concert in Totnes as part of Copnes 26. This event was a parallel festival to Cop 26 and an opportunity for people in Totnes to reflect on and voice their thoughts and feelings about our collective failure to care for the environment.

Somewhat madly, I decided to cycle to Totnes as I’d been thinking that I’d like to start cycling and performing around the country and because it tied in with the theme of the festival. It was a challenging trip as it was quite cold and wet on the first couple of days, I wasn’t in particularly good shape and it’s only the second time I’ve organised a cycle trip. However all in all it was a brilliant experience that stretched me and worked out pretty well in the end.

I was generally pushed for time getting to my destinations each day except on day 3 but I did manage to take a few photos on the way. Here are some from the first couple of days:
